Marco Pennacchini
Director of Photography Marco brought with him a wealth of international experience in film and broadcast production when he joined the Film Creations team in 1995. Born in Rome, Italy, Marco graduated from the prestigious Gioventu Italiana School of Cinematography, and mastered his trade by working with such European legends as Geoffry Unsworth ('2001: A Space Odyssey') and Giuseppe Rotunno (Fellini Satyricon). Marco married an American girl, and moved to Tucson in 1977 where he landed a job shooting local news. After several years in news, he launched his freelance career, working on movies like 'Tombstone,' 'Tank Girl,' 'Desperado,' 'Major League' and 'Posse,' as well as numerous commercials and music videos. Marco's lighting and camerawork have won him and the company numerous awards, and he brings a truly international flair to our organization. Marco and Rick (Rose) have worked together for over 20 years, and the non-verbal communication between them on-location is often amazing to watch...They truly represent a one-two punch in terms of production. |
